During the earth science unit, it is necessary for me to teach the patterns of how the moon changes. I got this moon changes activity from my teaching buddy, Brittany Holsonback.

S2E2. Students will investigate the position of sun and moon to show patterns throughout the year.
d. Use observations and charts to record the shape of the moon for a period of time.

This activity is one that students can take home for a month and track the shape of the moon.
