John Oliver of HBO explains all that is wrong with standardized tests. The pollen that flies through the air not just signals the arrival of spring, it also signals the start of a dreaded season for teachers, parents and students–standardized testing season.

For many students, this orchestrated event comes with rattling knees, serrated nails, and even wet pants, just to name a few. Simply, they are getting sick of the tests.

Oliver went on to outline that standardized tests have a single benefactor. Can you guess who that is? Teacher, no. Parents, no. Students, NO. Then who? Testing companies such as Pearson.

Some kids are so scared of tests that entertainment is usually used to quell their fears and alleviate the potential for fear induced conditions.
