Saturday, January 18 marks the annual celebration of National Gourmet Coffee Day. To me, gourmet coffee means those fancy coffee drinks filled with lots of yummy flavors (sugar) and toppings that make them taste nothing much like coffee. However, I have come to realize that gourmet coffee is a very sacred thing to many people, having everything to do with the beans and not the fancy coffee concoctions. That being said, I have put together a list of the 10 best places around Atlanta that I would love to spend my National Gourmet Coffee day. Some have gourmet beans, and some are more about gourmet coffee drinks. You decide which is more important to you!
Beans and Butter Coffeehouse
This is a cute little coffee shop that will quench your thirst for a small town cafe. Here you can enjoy locally roasted coffee in your favorite espresso, macchiato, cappuccino, or latte. Pair it with a freshly baked pastry for a nice little breakfast or brunch.
