How does ProctorU Work?
Basically the student visits the ProctorU website and logs on. Once the students are on, their screens will be captured and the proctor will carry out checks to make sure that the correct student is taking the test. They will also be able to monitor the student's account to make sure that there is no Googling going on or any other form of assistance in the room.
How Popular is ProctorU?
ProcturU is gaining traction on University campuses across the country. Institutions such as Troy University and the University of Kentucky among others have signed up for their services.

I think that ProcturU is a great idea. I am expecting that more companies will be entering this space, especially since online education is becoming so popular.
Would you prefer to do your tests online and have a proctor watching you on camera or would you rather be in the room with everyone else? I think that ProctorU is filling what I think is a real need.
