DaFont Review-Find Awesome Fonts With DaFont

Do you want to increase your font options? Well, DaFont may be your answer. You can use DaFont to search for awesome fonts and install them to your Microsoft applications such as Word. You can following my tutorial located here to install fonts that you may like to use in the future.

DaFont is a great website for you to find awesome free fonts for personal or professional use. Please make sure that you check the official terms of use for each font creator as they all have different terms of use for the most part.

DaFont is a well trusted website. However, as usual, please download the fonts from DaFont at your own risk. We have tested the downloads and we have not found any security issues. As a matter a fact, this site is probably the most popular of all font sites. I have been using it for years without any issues at all. I just recently showed a friend how to add cool fonts to her computer and she had not had any issues. Go ahead and check out my tutorial here. This a great website that will allow anyone, teachers included, to find and enhance their notes and handouts to make their work come to life.

How To Install Fonts on Your Computer

Why not lively up yourself? Well, I decided to do just that this year. I started by upgrading AccuTeach to make it look more awesome and modern. You can tell me what you think about it here. I have a simple DIY that you can do in 30 seconds to spice up your life. Why not add a new font to your computer’s word processors? Follow the steps below and you will have an awesome font on your computer in no-time.

Step 1

Head over to any website that offers free fonts. My favorite is, DaFont. Once you go there,  search for the category that you think fits your taste in fonts. I have twins that are in pre-kindergarten, so I will demonstrate how you can quickly and easily add handwriting fonts to your computer.

Search for “Primary Dots”. Once that font, or any font style that you are looking for, is returned in the search results you are ready for step 3.

Step 3

Click on “Download” and install the type of font or style that best suites your needs. Once it is installed you are done and ready to go.

Step 4

Open your MS Word software, select your favorite font, and start typing away. Remember that some fonts will require that you choose large sizes for optimal performance. Finally, remember that you are dealing with different people’s creative work. Therefore, most fonts are free for personal/ non-profit use. However, if you are going to be making money using the font, then you will be expected to pay for use: usually five dollars, or a donation. Enjoy!
