Asian Inspired Roasted Brussel Sprouts Recipe
1 lb. Brussel sprouts, trimmed and cut into fourths
3 tbsp sesame oil
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp maple syrup
2 large garlic cloves, minced
- Boil water, place Brussel sprouts in, and boil for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender. Drain and set aside.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium. Add garlic and stir for about 30 seconds. Add Brussel sprouts, soy sauce, and maple syrup. Cook 5-10 minutes until liquid is almost gone.
This was pretty delicious. However, as you can see, I added a few things. I added some red cabbage and sweet onion. I also topped the finished product with some Feta cheese that I had in the fridge. It was delicious.
