Monday night on Dancing With the Stars was the side-by-side challenge for the stars. This is the halfway point in the season, and Len loves this night. He designed the side-by-side challenge so that we can see the stars dancing in unison with a professional couple. I was extremely impressed by the talent that came out Monday night. I agree with Carrie Ann that dancing with another professional couple really made the stars step up their game this week. I would think that it would be incredibly helpful to be able to see and imitate a professional dancer of the same gender. Sean Lowe, the Bachelor, did just that. His quick step was very nice, and I would say he showed the most improvement in one week.
Should They Stay or Should They Go?

It was more obvious this week who has some underlying talent and who may need to go home. It is very apparent that Zendaya is a fabulous dancer. She got two 10’s this week! I have to agree that her dance was nice to watch. I think she did a great job. The comedians, D.L. Hughley and Andy Dick, on the other hand were less than perfect. I thought Brooke’s comment about comedians not making it very far in dancing was interesting. I wonder why that is?
Favorite Moment
The most entertaining dance for me was Andy Dick. I LOVED his zip line entrance onto the dance floor. It was too bad that the camera man focused on his partner instead of him at the end of his ride. I was sure he was going to crash before getting off that zip line! His paso doble this week was interesting to say the least! He was highly entertaining, but the dance was sort of a jumbled mess. Again, VERY entertaining though!
Least Favorite Moment

I have said in my past posts that I am rooting for D.L. Hughley, because I hated how the judges ripped him apart the first few dances. However, it is half way through the season now and I’m not seeing much improvement. Monday night proved that some stars are improving by leaps and bounds. D.L. Hughley, unfortunately, is not. He is still very uptight and Monday’s Tango was less than entertaining. It was quite boring, and it looked like he was just stomping around on the floor.
Predictions for Tuesday’s Elimination:
D.L. Hughley and Andy Dick are in the bottom two according to the judges’ scores. I think this was by design. They both received all 6’s. These two are obviously the worst dancers that are left in the group, so I feel like the judges gave them the exact same score to allow America to decide who they want to keep another week. If we are being fair in our judging, I think Andy Dick should stick around for one more week. He was, at least, very fun to watch and seemed to put a lot of effort into his dance (maybe too much).
