Most students in the United States are required to learn various Amendments of the constitution, chief among them being the first ten Amendments- the Bill of Rights. You cannot help feeling like a total hypocrite being a teacher when you have to teach your students about all these farce happenings-for a large percentage of the population of the United States of America.
According to the The Fourth Amendment of The United States:
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
There is a long documented history of the abuse of power of the majority on the minority. Therefore, the moral code of any society is defined by the will of the majority. All people of America need to be acutely aware of the impact of various laws that are enacted in their name, or on their behalf. And it is up to individuals who are living in these areas to take their communities, and do not allow themselves to be complicit in the creation of apartheid-like conditions. Based on the data that is being presented, the color of your skin is like a marked star, and that should be troubling to everyone.
