The Bullitt County History Museum in Shepherdsville, Kentucky has a copy of a 1912 Bullitt County Schools Exam for 8th graders. The test itself is a very interesting read, which explains why it has gone viral. A question from the test that really stood out to me was history question #2:
Seriously? Wow! I wonder how many of those students passed that test. I know I would have drawn “stick-men”. Take a look at the test below. After seeing this test it made we wonder, what will 8th graders 100 years from now think about the types of tests that students are required to take today? Take the test and grade yourself using this answer sheet located here. By the way, the answer sheet does not have a drawing of the two mentioned above. Maybe Wikipedia can help you with that.
