I was not all that surprised that Victor was in jeopardy this week, because he’s been in the bottom before. I was surprised, however, that Ingo was in jeopardy. I feel like he is doing pretty well, even though he is forgettable. Every time I write about DWTS, I never remember his dances. Sean is safe, even though Tom Bergeron may have created some tension between him and his soon-to-be-wife Catherine with his comment about how he acts with his dancing partner Peta.
Favorite Moment
The opening dance tonight was pretty exciting. I enjoy watching those dances that incorporate lights. At first I thought the dancers were guest dancers part of some dance group, but then at the end I saw that it was the DWTS professionals. I would have to say that this opening dance was one of their best, most original group dances.
Another funny moment was when Jacoby’s crotch met Karina’s head in the encore dance. At least he cleared the jump last night when it mattered! And “Team Pickler-Dick” anyone?!?!
Least Favorite Moment
I didn’t enjoy the musical performances. I have no idea who The Band Perry is, and I’m not a fan of Selena Gomez: lip-sync much? I don’t know who Kerli is either, though her song with the dancing performance was quite good. But I guess DWTS has been successful in introducing me to new music.
Who Got Eliminated?
D.L. Hughley is leaving the ballroom this week as I predicted. I was, however, quite surprised it wasn’t between him and Andy Dick. It seems that Andy has gotten a stronger group of supporters around him. Looking forward to next week with Stevie Wonder.
