The Gwinnett County Public School system is one of the top-performing school districts in Georgia and in the United States. Not to be outdone, even though Buford City Schools are not administered by Gwinnett Couty, they have consistently held their own and ranks among the top high schools in Georiga. The Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science & Technology is consistently the top-ranked school in Georgia and is ranked among the top-10 high schools in the United States.
