Google Docs is evolving…rapidly. Below, I will share with you a few simple steps that you can follow to edit and assign Google Drive forms easily. For this example, I will use a simple survey that I recently used to complete a genetics activity. Enjoy!
Step 1
Navigate to the survey or form that you would like to use or assign. Therefore I will navigate to this form here that was made public.
Step 2
All you need to do here is to make a copy of the form. This copy will be automatically saved into your Google Drive as a ready to use form. To make a copy select file————–> make a copy. Boom! Copy made.
Step 3
Name your file, and edit the file to your heart’s content. After you have completed your editing you are now ready to send the form to potential respondents. You can also embed your completed form in a HTML page.
That is it, you have just make a copy of a Google Form. Additionally, you may want to add a few extra customizations to your form. To get ideas on some of the things that you may be able to do with your Google form, take a look at my previous post here on how to use Google Drive to create quizzes and surveys.
