The 2013 Georgia End-Of-Course Tests results have been released by the Georgia Department of Education. The results indicate that overall there has been an improvement in students’ performance on the tests this year when compared to the 2012 results. This is great news for the Georgia Educational System, especially good coming off the heels of the improved results recently released indicating an improvement in the 2013 CRCT results when compared to the 2012 results. This improvement was highlighted by State Superintendent of Education, Dr. John Barge who declared:
“When looking at results in subjects that can be compared to last year, it is a positive trend. However, we are not where we need to be in every subject, particularly in math.”
